Curriculum

 Emergent Curriculum

At Early Learning Education Center we help set the stage for active learning by facilitating a Relationship-Based Curriculum in which recognizes the crucial importance of providing responsive, tender- loving care and assisting in the infants’ intellectual development through an attentive reading of each child’s cues and individuality.  By observing, recording and reflecting information about each infant’s interests, skills, and capabilities, we are able to facilitate developmentally appropriate practice within an emergent curriculum relevant to the children's interests and proximal level of development.

The classroom environment is safe, clean, and designed to provide a variety of experiences to enhance all areas of cognitive, physical, linguistic, social, and emotional development.  A variety of strategies, activities, projects and practices are implemented, observed and assessed to engage meaningful and challenging learning experiences for children of all interests within a social group setting. Children may work individually or collaboratively, and may choose whether or not to participate in a project or activity.  Children are actively involved in experiences which include early foundations of math, science, social studies, creative arts, language arts, literacy, music, movement and dramatic play.  Early Learning Education Center is an innovative program for young children sharing quality care goals concurrent with the ongoing trends of the most effective early child development practices and nationwide standards as we help prepare children for a successful future of learning.
